SketchMatrix is very simple to use, and yet, the results look professional and realistic - in detail as well as quality. A a simple sketch can be produced in seconds with just a few mouse clicks, but for greater control you are given total control to create your own unique style. This is not a simple sketch filter as available in other popular image editors. With SketchMatrix, you can define and customize various aspects of a sketch drawing such as Outline, Features, Shading, Detail, etc. Eight-way positional bias controls are provided to further vary every parameter. Amount and detail for each of the attributes can be controlled independently, to create a mix that is unique.
Create sketches and drawings art in black and white, or in actual colors matching the original image. Either way, Neuraltek's proprietary neural net controlled dynamic parameterisation ( as seen in the Blackmagic software) ensures that the line work and detail simulate the variability and artistic touch of an expert artist.
Even greater customisation can be achieved by adjusting red, green, and blue glaze, focus, intensity, luminance, and a realism control to give life into your sketches.
The effects are applied in real time WYSIWYG preview mode. Users can save their custom settings as a unique sketch style, which can then be applied to create other sketches without having to redefine the parameters.
The Technology behind SketchMatrix
Before SketchMatrix, computer created sketches lacked detail, giving a badly distorted print of the original image. The old algorithms generally worked to a set formula, treating all input to the same formula.
